The NEW Complete Beginners aerial hoop class is now up and running!!
It has been a long time since I’ve wanted to start up a class for absolute first timers on aerial equipment. I am really excited to have finally found an available slot to run this class, every Wednesday 8:15-9:15pm at the Albany Centre in Bristol. Teaching complete beginners takes me back to more than a decade ago, when I first climbed a rope at a free taster class on a Sunday morning at the circus school in Bristol that I would then go on to attend full time. I will never forget that first class, the excitement and fear mixed with a sense of total amazement at being able to get off the floor and go upside down, against all my doubts and reservation that I might not be able to do so.
We are now two weeks into the sessions and I enjoy every first time achievement, every stunned face after those “I thought I wasn’t going to be able to do that!” moments. They are truly magical and a good reminder of all the hard work and commitment that went into making aerial teaching and performance my profession.
If you would like to attend the Beginners Aerial Hoop class, do get in touch in advance as sessions are running fully booked. We do a back to basics approach with emphasis to good technique and body alignment. Class is also listed on MoveGB now.
